There were more tights
The differences between Prince William and Prince Henry and their respective women were more than palpable and the tension between them only grew and grew. To top it all off Queen Elizabeth II chose Henry as Young Commonwealth Ambassador, skipping the fact that William was older and reciprocated for him. It must also be said that William had the power to veto this decision but did not, perhaps out of pride.
He confessed it to the press
When you’re a famous character there are certain things you can’t stop them from coming to light, and when there are suspicions of something, the public claims to know the truth, it’s like it’s their right. The distance between the two royal couples was huge and they couldn’t disguise it in public. People started wondering what was going on there and they wanted to know the truth. On one occasion the press asked Prince William if they got along badly between them and he replied, “Yes.”
